Zoo Export was founded in 1960 by B.J.C. van Laarhoven. Formerly, the company's business involved importing and exporting zoo animals and dealt principally with the European market.
Since then, Zoo Export has carried out reorganization and layout assignments for zoos in addition to this.
Private collections have been on the increase. Different animal species are supplied from all over the world.
Zoo Export has capture stations in, for example, Asia and Africa. A wealth of experience has been built up on the transportation of different animal species and providing transport in a responsible fashion so that the animals endure the least possible stress and other inconveniences and are thus transported in the correct manner. Obviously, supervision is possible if desirable or necessary.
We transport animals according to the customs and public health service regulations. The mode of transport may be by trailer, lorry, aeroplane or ship.
